This is how you know K-pop is taking over the world. At the Grammys Awards earlier today, not one, but two K-pop acts made their first appearance at the prestigious music event. Both BTS and EXO’s Lay made an appearance on the red carpet, with the former appearing on stage to present the award for the Best R&B Album of the year (which went to H.E.R).

“Growing up in South Korea, we always dreamed of being on the Grammys stage. Thank you to all our fans for making this dream come true and we’ll be back,” said RM.

Here’s a clip of them presenting the award on the Grammys stage:

Nawwww, ARMYs must be so proud right now.

“We’ve just been working on our next album, we just stayed up all night right before the flight,” RM told Ryan Seacrest during the red carpet interview.

In another interview with Billboard, RM also thanked their fans, saying that the band is “living the dream” thanks to ARMYs.

“They made us, they gave us force,” he added.

As a true sign of how much they love their fans, BTS also did a V Live after the whole event, to say hi to their fans and share the big night with them.
