If you thought Song Joongki aka Captain Yoo from Descendants of the Sun couldn’t get any more perfect, wait till you hear this: everyone’s favourite soldier will be donating his appearance fee from his recent variety show appearance to charity.

OK, let’s all swoon together. Aww, oppa.

The actor recently filmed for an episode of Hurry Up, Brother, the Chinese version of Korea’s popular variety TV show, Running Man, which he was once part of. He will be appearing on the episode together with the Korean cast of Running Man.

The Chinese TV show is produced by Zhejiang Television, and co-produced by an SBS producer. SBS is the Korean broadcasting channel that conceptualised Running Man.

The Chinese channel had posted a video on their Weibo account of Joongki greeting fans in Mandarin.

The episode will be shown on Friday, but Korean fans are in for a disappointment (just like we are). The producer of the show had said in a previous statement in April that the show is unlikely to be shown in Korea.

We highly doubt it’ll be shown in Singapore either but hey, there are always gif previews on Tumblr.
