June looks set to be a busy month with G-Dragon and Britney Spears stopping by for concerts, and it seems November is no different. Ed Sheeran and Harry Styles, who are also great pals IRL, will be in Singapore for concerts – albeit on different days and at different venues.

Harry will be stopping by Singapore and performing at The Star Theatre on November 23, as part of his first solo world tour. Our country is one of the only two stops in Asia – the other being in Japan. You can expect the One Direction member to be performing songs from his upcoming solo album, which will drop on May 12. We’ve heard the masterpiece that is “Sign of the Times”, so we’re excited to see him perform it live. Harry, who was in town two years ago to perform with One Direction, has proven his abilities to sing live, so expect nothing less than a spectacular live show from the vocal powerhouse.

Tickets for HARRY STYLES LIVE ON TOUR 2017 – SINGAPORE will go on sale tomorrow but if you’re thinking of buying on behalf of someone else, think twice unless you’re planning to go for the concert too. The organiser, Live Nation Lushington, released a set of rules, which includes prohibition of reselling of tickets. The press release also mentioned that ID checks will be done on the day of the show, and attendees are advised to bring a photo ID to check against the names on their tickets. Which means, if you’re planning to surprise your BFF with a ticket but are not a Directioner, you might have to book the ticket under her name. Of course, some fans would be happy since this is a good way on clamping down on black market sales, where tickets are resold at inflated prices.

The same rules don’t seem to apply to Ed’s concert. The singer-songwriter will be in Singapore 12 days earlier, and will be holding his concert on November 11 at Singapore Indoor Stadium. In 2015, Ed held a sold-out concert at The Star Theatre, the venue where Harry will be holding his concert. This time round, he will be having his show at Singapore Indoor Stadium, which has a greater crowd capacity. Hopefully, with more tickets available for fans, it’ll be easier to get our hands on the tickets. But with the success of “Shape of You”, we wouldn’t be surprised if he plays to a full arena once again.
