When EXO’s D.O. was casted in movie, My Annoying Brother (Hyung), he started working out for the role. After all, he would be playing a judo athlete in the film.

In an interview with Vogue Korea last year, he revealed that he was supposed to have a topless scene in the movie. He said, “I was initially scheduled to have a topless scene in Hyung, so I trained very hard and it was difficult to achieve abs for the movie. It’s a pity that we didn’t film with that scene in the end; maybe I wasn’t good enough!”

But it seems the topless scene did make the cut – assuming there was only one. The teaser video for the movie showed a scene where D.O., who goes by his birth name Do Kyungsoo as an actor, went to a sauna with his on-screen brother, actor Jo Jungsuk. The brief scene highlighted the fruits of D.O.’s labour – toned arms and abs.

The singer, who made his acting debut two years ago, previously gave fans a sneak peek of his bare torso in EXO’s photo book. While his fellow members have stripped for the group’s concerts, the 23-year-old adamantly refused to follow suit, claiming that he wasn’t ready to show off his body. If his silhouette when he’s wearing a wet shirt is anything to go by, we’d say he’s ready.

The movie will hit cinemas in South Korea on November 30, 2016.
