Adorably named the Poppy, the leather bucket bag pays homage to Jung’s chic design philosophy and personal style. Available in six different colourways, three representing the shades found in a Poppy flower field – white, pink and lilac – and three more neutral tones of black, brown and nude. It’s adjustable strap only adds to its versatility as you can carry it as a handbag or wear as a crossbody bag for a more casual approach. What’s even better, they’re priced at $119.

You’re constantly travelling for work, what are your go-to style tips when travelling?

I always say I’m packing light, but end up on the other end of light. With that said, however, I like to keep traveling style relatively simple and casual. When I’m in an environment far from home, it’s always best to keep things as comfortable as possible.

How would you describe the New York style vs Korean style?

Hard to say. I think I’m a mix of both, which pretty much sums up BLANC & ECLARE’s style. But if I had to pick something, I would say that the Korean style is likely to take more fashion risk? Nevertheless, I think a combination of the two is most appealing.

Your style has changed over the years. Has the launch of your own brand influenced your style mantra?

Absolutely. The evolution of fashion is what keeps it interesting, creatively exhilarating and fresh.

Having a sister must have meant double the wardrobe space or did you and Krystal keep your styles separate?

As much as we are similar, we certainly have a difference in our fashion preference. But there are a lot of times when we share certain items, except shoes (she has bigger feet than me).

What was it like walking for Dolce & Gabbana earlier this year? Did you meet Domenico Dolce and Stefano Gabbana?

It was super exciting—it had been a long time since I walked a runway. Yes, I met them and had a wonderful time discussing fashion and other interesting topics.

Have you picked up any style tips from your stylist over the years?

Of course. You’ll be surprised how many different ways one could wear a dress or an oversized shirt. We experiment and have a ton of fun doing that.

What’s your inspiration when it comes to designing your collections?

A lot of inspiration comes from my travels and influence of my closest friends and family. This inspiration extends to music making as well. My daily life is the single most important contributor to my creative output.

Which is your favourite bag and why?

My new Poppy bag is of course my favorite at the moment! Simple, because I designed it!

What do you look for when buying a new bag?

Practicality, quality and of course, price.

What do you carry in your bag at all times?

Lip balm/gloss, eye drops, hair brush and a mirror.
