If K-pop fans thought they could catch a break from news of members leaving their respective groups, they’re wrong.

JYP Entertainment just released a statement to announce that Jia will be leaving miss A and the company.

Chinese members Fei and Jia’s contracts with the agency recently came to an end and while Fei has decided to stay on, Jia will be leaving the company to pursue a solo career.

The agency said in a statement, “On May 20, Jia’s contract with JYP Entertainment has ended. JYP Entertainment will continue to support Jia, who was with JYP Entertainment for a long time, and sincerely hope she will be successful.”

They added, “In addition, Fei recently signed renewed contract with JYP Entertainment and we will support her activities in Korea and China. The existing members of miss A will continue promotions, which will be focused on their individual activities.”

Does that mean “Only You” is the last music video we’ll ever see from the quartet? Noooo.

miss A debuted in 2010 with “Bad Girl, Good Girl” and quickly topped the charts with their debut track despite being rookies, making them the fastest girl group to have ever gotten the top spot on a music show upon debut.

They continued to churn out earworms over the years, while Suzy juggled a career in acting. In recent years, there has been speculations that the members don’t get along, especially because Suzy is often spotted missing in photos whenever the rest of the members hang out during their free time.

Jia updated her Instagram yesterday with captionless two selfies, presumably to gear fans up for the news today.
