The leader of K-pop group 100%, Seo Minwoo, has passed away.

The group’s agency, TOP Media, released a statement today to announce the devastating news.

According to the statement, Minwoo suffered a cardiac arrest on March 25. Although paramedics were called to the scene, he was declared dead upon their arrival.

The singer had debuted as a member of 100% in 2012. The group initially started out as a septet, but following the departure of two members, they continued as a quintet.

Last month, they released their third Japanese single, “Song For You”.

Apart from group activities, Minwoo was also active as an actor. He celebrated his 33rd birthday on February 8.
