Missed going to concerts? We’re sure everyone does. The Covid-19 pandemic has created a new normal for us where a lot of things are done digitally. This includes watching concerts.
Which is probably why TikTok will be streaming two K-pop concerts next week. The concerts will be streamed in vertical format on the video streaming app, and aims to help raise funds for Covid-19 relief. And, yes, you can watch it in Singapore.
The first concert, TikTok Stage Live From Seoul, will happen on May 25 at 4pm (it’s a public holiday in Singapore). The concert will feature Kang Daniel, Apink, iKon, Monsta X and other K-pop acts.
The second concert, TikTok Stage With HIPHOPPLAYA, will take place on May 27 at 7pm. As its name suggests, it features a star-studded lineup of hip-hop acts such as Epik High, Jay Park and Jessi, as well as Heize, Crush and Dean.
Wondering how you can donate? Well, for starts, watch the concert! For every viewer that tunes in, the video streaming platform will donate $0.50, and all funds will be donated to charities that support those affected by Covid-19. You can also take part in in-app challenges to raise funds for the cause.
If you don’t already have TikTok, you can download it on the App Store (for iOS users) or Play Store (for Android users). Then, follow or go to the TikTok Stage (@tiktok_stage) channel to stream the concerts.
