Just in time for Singapore’s National Day, and in conjunction with Singapore Food Festival, McDonald’s has just introduced a new menu that’s all about local flavours. But if you’re expecting chili crab (which seems to be the only food Korean celebs know here), we’re sorry to dash your hopes. The new menu is something more relatable to our daily lives (because who eats chili crab that often, right?!). Today, McDonald’s launched the “Nasi Lemak” burger, among other new products.

The branch we went to (Great World City) didn’t have the chendol gula melaka cone (bummer!), and the puteri salat cake was sold out by 12.30pm, but we did manage to try the other new things on the menu. According to the press release, the new items will make Singaporeans go “sedap“, but how did the CLEO team like it?

Scroll the gallery to see our honest opinions of the new menu. (Photos are not Mei Tu Xiu Xiu-ed because we’re keeping things as real as our reviews.)
