Many a drama-filled, alcohol-fuelled night has taken place at Zouk. But whether or not those moments were great or godawful, for many of us this nightclub (and its hotdogs – I mean, how booze-absorbent are those bangers and mash) will always have a special place in our hearts.
One of our country’s oldest and most popular entertainment spots, the iconic establishment that’s soon turning 26 has been credited for advancing the dance music scene across Asia. It’s more than a venue; it’s a place with a soul, and a well-loved one at that. It’s also iconic, and the recent move to Clarke Quay is sure to take it to greater heights.
DJMag’s Top 100 Clubs polls are now open and you can vote for Zouk to stay in the top 10 here. It held the sixth spot last year, and has been the only local club to hit the top 10 several times.
Surely we can do a lil something for this one special place that’s allowed us to create some of our wildest memories?
